that you have shown an interest in becoming a member of
the Fox Chapel Racquet
Club. This site was designed to help you become more acquainted with the
many exciting programs that the Club has to offer, as well as the process to
become a member.
The Fox Chapel Racquet Club was formed in 1964 by several visionary residents of the Borough. Their aim was to create a premier tennis facility as well as creating a club that would attract families and provide a beautiful setting for their children. Nestled in the woods in a central location of Fox Chapel, the Racquet Club has now become one of the largest tennis facilities in Western Pennsylvania, and the dream of providing an outstanding sports and social facility for adults as well as children has been accomplished.
As the years progressed, the Club has expanded fourfold. Starting with two tennis courts in 1965, it now has nine Har-Tru courts, an Olympic size swimming pool, and a large clubhouse overlooking the pool and courts, as well as five platform tennis courts and a warming hut for use in the winter. Our Tennis Center includes a pro shop offering racquet stringing, equipment and apparel. Our comprehensive teaching program for adults and the outstanding Junior Tennis Program are recognized among the finest in Pennsylvania.
